Zarah Essence S.A. is a family-owned vetiver oil enterprise rooted in Les Cayes, Haiti — the epicenter of the world's most prized vetiver-producing region. Our family's land has cultivated vetiver for generations. The volcanic soil and tropical climate of southern Haiti produce roots with an aroma profile unmatched anywhere: smoky, earthy, woody, with distinctive citrus-grapefruit notes that perfumers call irreplaceable.
We are building a vertically integrated operation — cultivation, distillation, and direct export — to ensure full traceability, consistent quality, and fair value for the farming families who nurture this extraordinary crop.
